Tarka Daal with rice for 2
Instructions: Wash Lentils 4 -5 times. Add lentils to a saucepan of water and the turmeric simmer on a medium heat for 18-20mins. Stir and if needed add water.
In another pan heat the oil and add spices bag one, cook until the seeds start releasing their aroma. Pour in the tomatoes and spice bag two, cook for 5mins then add the cooked lentils for another 1min. Serve.
Red lentils, turmeric powder, oil, can of tomatoes, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, crushed chillies, ginger powder, garlic powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt.
